Spring Term 1
We will be continuing our learning on fractions, decimals and percentages. We supplement our Maths with weekly arithmetic practice, Maths.co.uk and Times Tables rockstars to ensure foundational skills and knowledge is not forgotten. In English, we will be writing a recount in the form of a letter and then moving onto a narrative based on a twisted fairytale. Our Reading will focus on the book, The Boy at the Back of the Class by Onjali Q Rauf. This is a collaborative project with other schools. Our main focus is Geography where we will be learning about human and physical features of North America and making comparisons to where we live. In DT, we will be researching, and making a monitoring device using Micro-bit. In Art, children will be focusing on their drawing skills taught by Ms Gillion and in RE we will be learning about Hindus.
