Useful Info For Parents (uniform, behaviour, wrap around care)

Behaviour at Sennen

At Sennen we believe that mistakes are a valuable teaching tool and can help us to learn to make better choices. Our school virtues provide us with a conversation tool kit to help guide the children in the right direction and reflect on what has gone well, and what we need to develop. We use praise and encouragement to support with children's self esteem and help them believe in themselves as valulable members of our school. We believe that children thrive on routine and consistency and so have created a behaviour policy that is clear and easy to understand.

Wrap around care
In the next academic year, we will be continuing to offer breakfast club and some extra-curricular clubs after school to our families. The breakfast and after school clubs will take place in the school and be staffed by existing members of the staff team. There will be a range of activities on offer that will make use of the schools resources both inside and out. During breakfast club, the children will be able to have cereal, toast and fruit to give them a healthy start to the day. The provision will be open to all Sennen School children. As this is an extension of school hours the school is required to charge for its use in order to cover the costs of providing it.

To book in for breakfast club, please contact the school office via phone or email as early as possible. If the request is due to a last minute change please email Mrs Tindall (etindall@sennen.tpacademytrust.org)

Breakfast club will run from 7:45am – 8:35am. Parents can drop off at any time and children do not have to eat. These options are reflected in the pricing structure below.

Most of the uniform is easy to purchase from major supermarkets and items that have a logo on can be ordered direct from the supplier, using this link:
