About you:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and creative KS1 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team on a maternity cover basis, starting in January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing and inclusive environment, where every child is encouraged to enjoy their learning journey.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Teach a mixed Year 1 and 2 class, providing a stimulating, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with our curriculum
- Use effective strategies to support pupils, particularly those with SEND
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to promote positive relationships
- Maintain a caring, safe and respectful classroom ethos
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Is reflective and flexible
- Compassionate and nurturing
- Values strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
